This 2A 5V module is a highly integrated circuit solution that combines charging management and discharge boost functions. Specially designed for portable energy storage and small-scale digital device power supply applications, it allows developers to construct a complete power charge and discharge system with only a small number of peripheral components, which significantly simplifies the overall structure of the power system.

The module is equipped with a complete linear charging management unit that is compatible with standard 5V voltage sources. It supports safe and efficient charging management for single-cell lithium batteries, with a maximum output charging current of 2A. The built-in battery voltage monitoring circuit can automatically complete the full-process switching of pre-charging, constant-current fast charging and constant-voltage supplementary charging. Meanwhile, it integrates multiple protection mechanisms including charging overcurrent protection, battery overcharge protection and abnormal temperature protection, which can effectively extend the service life of energy storage batteries. In discharge mode, the module adopts a synchronous rectification boost architecture, which can stably boost the voltage of a single-cell lithium battery to 5V output, and can continuously output a maximum load current of 2A. The synchronous rectification design greatly reduces power loss during the discharge process, and the overall discharge conversion efficiency can reach more than 93%. Compared with traditional discrete solutions, it can significantly improve the endurance performance of portable devices.
The module also integrates complete battery power monitoring and status indication functions. It can collect real-time residual voltage data of the battery, and intuitively feed back the remaining power through an external indicator light. It also supports seamless switching between charging and discharging states: when an external 5V power supply is connected, the module automatically prioritizes power supply to the load while charging the battery; when the external power supply is disconnected, it automatically switches to battery boost discharge mode without additional manual operation. All functions can be realized only by matching conventional input and output filter capacitors, small-capacity power inductors and a small number of resistance-capacitance components on the periphery, which greatly reduces the design threshold and material cost of the power scheme. This module can be widely used in power systems of various small consumer electronics such as mobile power banks, portable small fans, Bluetooth headset charging cases, and portable LED lighting.
