The Rogowski coil employs a coreless design (as magnetic core saturation typically limits the measurable range and bandwidth), enabling measurements across a wide range of currents and bandwidths. The Rogowski coil outputs the derivative of the measured current signal; to accurately interpret this signal, a discrete solution or integrated software is required.
