The BAW oscillator is available in 3.2 mm × 2.5 mm, 2.5 mm × 2.0 mm, 2.0 mm × 1.6 mm, and 1.6 mm × 1.2 mm packages, making it easy to replace directly.
By integrating the BAW resonator into the clock generator, the package size is reduced to just 3.0 mm × 3.0 mm, eliminating the need for an external clock or crystal oscillator source. This approach streamlines the bill of materials and minimizes PCB footprint, enabling a more simplified design for applications with limited space.
